About I Love You
Inspired by a book written by famed Chinese novelist Wang Shuo (who also collaborated on the screenplay), I Love You is a classic tale of two young people meeting, falling in love, getting married and then watching it all deteriorate and turn sour. Du Ju and Wang Yi simply cannot bear having to deal with the pettiness of day to day life, and once the honeymoon is over, their idealised perfect love turns mutually destructive.
