About New Bride
A wealthy man's only daughter Ok-Suk marries Hyeon-Su and begins to live in husband's house. Hyeon-Su's father is the principal of a middle school, mother is stubborn typical Korean woman, and grandfather is benevolent and warm-hearted man. As she has been brought up just receiving love from the peoble around, Ok-Suk is very clumsy at housekeeping and it makes the seniors nervous. Finally, she quarrels with husband and returns to her parents' home. Her mother stands by her but, as father scolds her to return to husband's house, she leaves the house and begins to wander on the streets. She happens to meet an old lady named Mrs. Jin-Ju and learns from her about the way of woman and wife. Afterward, she returns to husband's house and realizes the preciousness of home.
