About Valuable Buddhist Scripture, A
Being aware of his impending death, a Buddhist priest Jiam, who is the head priest of large Buddhist temple named Sambosa, tries to select his successor among his disciples, for example, Hye-Dong, Hye-Mun, and Hye-Sa. To do so, he informs each benefactor of such a fact to hold the supreme patriarch conference. "Daeseung ki sinron", which is a valuable Buddhist scripture written by a high Buddhist priest named Hyeonjang Peobsa, is kept in Sambosa Buddhist temple's Jangkyeongkak. To deprive this valuable scripture, they make plots and accidents. At that time, a youth named Ku-Myeong, who has been falsely accused to stay at a remote area, is rescued to believe in the Buddhism. Being aware of his truth, he is given a Buddhist priest name of Hye-Myeong to inherit the head of the Buddhist temple. After taking office of the head of the Buddhist temple, Hyemyeong burns "Daeseung ki sinron", and says that the true value of a scripture exists in reading and learning its context.
