About Bell Master, The
After the Manchurian of 1636 ended, the court comes to be filled with villainous retainers. Disillusioned at it, Mansan master resign from government service and return to his hometown. Over there, he wanders around the streets jingling a bell like a crazy man, but all his behavior is to look about the town. One day, he hears from a kisaeng(prostitute) Yeon-Hwa that a villainous retainer Choi Dal-Ji and his comrades are forming a conspiracy against the government in collusion with Cheong-Dynasty. He follows up Choi Dal-Ji and his gang in disguise and, just before they set a plan on foot, he arrests all of them and rescues the government. After then, he returns to hometown again with Yeon-Hwa.
