About Widows for Three Generations, The
After the Korean War ended, there is a leader called Sangkun in a peaceful village of woman drivers in Cheju Island. Sangkun should be model for the other woman drivers remaining faithful to her dead husband even if she become a widow. The village peoble have an old custom to offer Sea-dragon memorial service once a year, and for this ceremony, they should not commit any unclean conducts. The Sangkun Sun-Nyeo makes a round of patrol over the village having a few days to go to the ceremony and happens to witness the scene in which Jang Tae-Wu is making love with a young woman driver. The ceremony finishes without special trouble, but since then, some ominous things happen in the village. Moreover, Jang Tae-Wun persistently approaches to Sangkun Sun-Nyeo, though she anguishes for a while, in the end, are given in to his demand.
