About People in White, The
An unidentified man '¤¾' appears to Hae Cheon that is considered as a virtual space. '¤¾' is locked in the time and space that maybe didn't exist where he wanders about looking for his past straying between illusion and reality, and dream and actuality. Though his past is buried in slides of time, its tense is actualized just like his desire. This closed space whose exit is closed with entrance. Hae Cheon is where present and past are mixed. Those who make appearance there are missing children and departed spirits of past. '¤¾' who wanders looking for past is exiled from present. They are destined to be in collusion with each other and share the secret of life that was buried under deposited times of 40 years. '¤¾' goes to the starting point of a knot unfastening thread of life that was entangled for last 40 years. The destination of '¤¾' who left for past looking for a fountain in his vague memory by meditating the times of 40 years is maybe the original form of salvation, or paradise in fact and his retreatourney is considered as a pilgrimage to the Holy Land for salvation. In the end, however, he gets to the holy altar where '¤¾' gets to witness his paradise and hell coexist there.
