About Deep Blue Night

Dreaming of success in America, Baek Ho-Min marries Jane on contract in order to obtain denizenship. Jane, an isolated woman in American society, feels love for Ho-Bin as if he were the last light of hope in her life. Finally, they pass the difficult interview of the emigration department and Ho-Min acquires the American citizenship. But, by the time when their contract marriage ends, Ho-Bin's ambition and Jane's love cause conflicts between them. In the end, Ho-Bin's secret is exposed and his violent personality abuses Jane's humanity. They take a trip for divorce and die on the desert burning out vain ambition and love.
