About Herb of Longing
This film presents two legends. The first one is about a filial daughter. In order to save her father dying of illness, she distributes handbills which is saying that she'll marry the most brave man, and as she wished, she married the most brave man. She asks him to bring the herb in a cave in which a monster is living, and with it she cures her father's disease. The second one is about a devoted wife. A lady marries a still young boy and she does her best to take care of him who studies to pass the state examination, but dies of illness. Even after she died, she helps her husband to pass the exam.
