About Why Life is So Cruel to Women?
Hye-RYoon is a concubine living with her son In-Shik. One day visit of Heo Dal, a swindler, causes some misunderstanding among family members and In-Shik gets to live in the main residence. Then Hye-RYoon brings home and takes care of Jun-Kil, an orphan child. One day many years later Heo Dal tries to rape Hye-RYoon but is killed by his own fault. Hye-Ryun, accused of first degree murder, goes on trial. Not wanting to defame her son, a prosecutor in charge of the case, she exercises the right of silence. But Jun-Kil defends the accused and succeeds in proving her innocence. The prosecutor and his mother shed tears of lost time and regained happiness.
