About Lady 'Conch'
Eun-Ah, a bar girl, lives a happy life with her daughter Kyeong-Hee and some company's managing director Park. One day Park's wife takes away Kyung-Hee, and Eun-Ah is expelled from home. And she gets to know that she has a pulmonary tuberculosis, but her boss Madame Yoon helps her go into the country for recuperation. There she falls in love with Seok-Young, a painter. They decide to come to Seoul to live together, but Eun-Ah dies expectorating blood before she comes to Seoul.
