About Madame
Cheon-Seok, a servant who one day peeped into his recently widowed madame's bathing, falls in love with her. One day the village minister who visited the madame's house tries to rape her, but to the contrary, he gets to disgrace himself. The minister accusing the madame of disgracing him, arrests and punishes her. The madame and Cheon-Seok make love after she returns home. The rumor of their affairs spreads out, which results in Cheon-Seok's being arrested. But he exercises the right of silence to protect the madame from being humiliated by people. Agonizing over her anti-social love to her subordinate, the madame commit suicide.
