About Flowery Bier, A
Old man Byeon, once a servant of Han family, marries to a maidservant Ka-Sil. As he finds she was a concubine of a noble man, he harbors a hostile feeling against the noble. In defiance of two family's opposition, Tae-Jin and Yeon-Sil marry. As Tae-Jin, who becomes a student soldier, is killed, Yeon-Sil puts his mortuary tablet in a temple to console his soul. One day Min-Su who killed Tae-Jin comes to her explaining inevitable situation. Then inexplicable feeling arouses between Yeon-Sil and Min-Su. As this is revealed, Yeon-Sil plunges into a well and Min-Su becomes a monk. When she is moved out on flowery bier as a virtuous woman, old man Byeon refuses to bury her in his family grave yard even though she abandoned Han family and he burns her bier.
