About Eldest Son, The
When a typical modern the eldest son's old parents' hometown is selected as an area to be underwater, they come up to Seoul. But they feel uneasy at the life in a tenement house and move into their youngest son's house who lives in a temporary dwelling in an empty lot. The empty lot is the place prepared by the eldest son to build a house for his parents. By that time, he takes a business trip to Cheju and the second son take the responsibility of building a house. Their parents come to the site of construction and watch it everyday with amused mood. Finally, when the house is about to be completed, the old mother quietly passes away. The eldest son runs from the Cheju at this sad news and cries over mother's body.
