About Tearful Story
Third-rate gagman Chin-yong ends up living with his daughter Ka-yong in the countryside. From the beginning the two do not get along well. Chin-yong is the most boring comedian on the night stand-up stage, but harbors the dream of becoming a famous comedian on TV. Ka-yong regards him as a pathetic soul, but as they are one family, understanding and intimacy slowly grows between them. Ka-yong is placed in a youth protection center, because her father is officially listed as a single man. But her biological mother works at the place, and Chin-yong comes for her and runs into Ka-heun. The trio grow close, especially after Ka-heun finds out from Chin-yong that Ka-yong is her daughter and Ka- yong also discovers that Ka-heun is her biological mother, and this prompts her to approach her more warmly. Ka-heun finds out that her daughter is ill and the fact that she tries to comfort her about the cruel reality makes her even more sad.
