About Baettaragi
Sang-Cheol's fishing boat comes back with full of fish but it causes misunderstanding at the seaside where they finds Deok-Sam's wife who committed suicide. Sang-Cheol runs into his newly wedded wife Ok-Bun. One day his brother doesn't go to sea due to illness, and the villagers misunderstand him and spread a groundless rumor that Sang-Bok is romantically involved with his sister-in-law. Sang-Cheol, who narrowly escaped from death in the sea, believes the rumor and maltreats his brother and wife. As soon as he finds out it is his misunderstanding, he makes an apology to them. But another trouble between them forces Sang-Bok to get out of his brother. When Sang-Bok clears away his doubt and runs to the sea, Ok-Bun is already drowned and her body is floating on the sea. Sang-Cheol bitterly laments in remorse but it is too late.
