About War and Fame
Sun-Yi happens to meet and gets help from a Netherlands soldier Saier on her way of refuge during the Korean War but comes to get parted with him when the Chinese interrupts in the war. In the course of fighting, when his Korean friend Apple dies, Saier undergoes a lot of hardships but comes to meet Sun-Yi and her brother again. Because of the Chinese soldiers' next attack, they fight to live on experiencing the tragedy of war but, in the end, Saier alone is left alive. Saier's mind is filled with the Koreans and the soldiers of allied force who died one by one endlessly, but the most unbearable one is the unfulfilled love with Sun-Yi.
