About Sad Twilight
Cheondung lives tiding over all hardships in life working as a shoeshine boy and laver rice roll seller together with a cobbler, a owner of lodging house, and a street singer. Through them, he learns what is love. He comes to know a street girl Hyeon-Suk and depends on her as if she was his elder sister, but there are two men around her a sailor Seong-Sam and a scoundrel Man-Sik. Though Seong-Sam loves her, Man-Sik harasses her. When Hyeon-Suk passes away, he sets out to look for his unknown mother bearing love and generosity learnt from her.
