About Star of Lost Paradise, The
Though the novelist Kang Seok-Wun has a wife and children, Young-Rim woos him to be together with her. Young-Rim is an admirer of his novel 'The River of Temptation' published serially in a newspaper. He fails to turn down her love and runs away with her to Kyeongju. Meanwhile, his enraged wife Ok-Young leaves the house and their still young son wanders the streets looking for mother and, in the end, dies from pneumonia. Noting the fact on the newspaper, Kang Seok-Wun suffers from unbearable guilty conscience and leaves for Seoul.
