About Sad Story of Woman, A
As a son-in-law taken into the Song Mi-Nam's family, Kyeong-Ju is an opium addict. But his wise and virtuous wife Jeung-Nyeo does her best to attend him. So, she often is rebuked from her aggressive brother. The opium addict husband's mal-treatment gets worse day by day. By that time, an elementary school teacher You-Ho comes to board at her house and falls in love with her. As their love can't see no hope in future, lamenting of that, she throws herself off a cliff.
