About Permanent Relics
The old Lee Seong-Yeol wants to teach his son named Lee Cheong how to play Keomunko (Korean traditional harp with six strings), but his son is not interested in learning the old and worn musical instrument to cause conflict between father and son. Lee Cheong sells the musical instrument secretly to enter a college. At the college, he loves Young-Ju, and goes to foreign country to get a doctorship of engineering science. When Young-Ju visits her father-in-law to let him take care of her son, she becomes much impressed by Keomunko so that she makes her son learn the musical instrument. Lee Cheong understands not only Korean people's spirit but also his father in the United States. After returning to home country, Lee Cheong looks for the Keomunko, which he sold before, and finds out that an intelligent business man has already returned it to his father.
