About Don't Cry, Mother
An amateur phtographer Il lives with his mother Mrs. Han in his elder brother Shik's house but they don't love each other. Koo, who wants to be a trumpeter, lives with his mother Mrs. Hwang, a clean lady, and his sister Hee, a waitress. They are not rich but intimate each other. One day, Koo steals his mother's savings to take a job in a night club as trumpeter, but he is cheated. Mrs. Hwang gets hurt in the leg on a way to look for Koo. Il steals his sister-in-law's diamond ring to pay for Mrs. Hwang's medical treatment. As soon as Mrs. Hwang leaves the hospital, Il and Koo join the army to have new life. Mrs. Han and Mrs. Hwang feels proud of their sons with tears.
