About Massacre at Panmunjeom, A
The story of Aug 18 massacre case has been revived. The movie's hero Is a newspaper reporter for Panmunjeom (a negotiation place at the demilitarized zone). The news of Aug 18 massacre firstly reminds the reporter of captain Arthur G. Bonipas, an US Army's guard officer. At the address of farewell party for him some days before the case occurs, he says, "The truce agreement should be kept". The UN Force's soldiers cut down poplar trees in problem under three dimensional military operation at the ground, sky and sea at AM 7:00 on Aug 21, and then the corpses of captain Bonipas and lieutenant Mark T. Ballet are carried by air at the last scene of the movie.
