About Arirang
Crazy Young-Jin lives with his father and sister Young-Hee in a village. One day, Young-Jin's friend Hyeon-Ku visits him and laments the fact that his friend is gone to mad. As time goes by, he falls in love Young-Hee. Meanwhile, Oh Ki-Ho, the steward of a vicious landowner cherishes one-sided love in heart, and tries to rape her when all the village peoble gathered in a ground of the village. At the very moment, Hyeon-Ku shows up and fights with Oh Ki-Ho, but Oh is killed by a sickle Young-Jin brandished. Shocked at the sight of blood, Young-Jin comes to regain sanity, as he's become a murder already, he is dragged over the hill of Arirang to the Japanese police.
