About On the Road at Night
Mrs. Maria receives a prize of 'Good mother' because she carefully raised Su-Mi, her high school girl daughter. But she is too conservative and closed for her daughter. One day, Su-Mi who wants to be a catholic nun is kissed by Won-Tae, a member of Reading Club where she belongs. Maria happened to make love with a glass worker. She feels guilty but she can't control her desire. One day Su-Mi witnesses Maria's love affair and runs away from home. Maria regrets sincerely and looks for her daughter who goes to the bad. When Su-Mi comes back home with Won-Tae's help, her mother is already dead.
