About Dullard Daughter-in-Law
Man-Bok, a sweeper of marketplace rescues a country girl Pal-Pun who come up to Seoul with no plan and is about to be taken to brothel. He gets her employed in president Yang's house as a kitchen-maid. But, as Yang and his wife have no child, they try to have Pal-Pun carry on his family line. Noticing Yang's intention, Pal-Pun leaves his house and comes to stay at Man-Bok's house. They love each other, and give birth to a child. One day, the baby is lost. In fact, the Yangs take the baby being jealous of them. On the course of searching for the baby, they happen to catch red communist spy, and are given a citation for it. Thus they become happier.
