About Nam
Around 1930, Japanese Imperialism intended to take the gold of Korea to their country. Finding out this fact, patriot youth, under the lead of Wun-Pyeong, make a plan to take the gold and to send them to their provisional government in Shanghai. As the detailed plan is going to be carried out, one of the members Jeong-Tak betray them and leaks the plan to the Japanese in advance. Wun-Pyeong takes refuge in a foreign country and becomes a wealthy man over there. Years after, he returns to his country and find out the fact that his wife is living with Jeong-Tak. He give up revenge for the sake of his wife's happiness, but his wife, after heard the news that Wun-Pyeong returned, commits suicide. In the end, Wun-Pyeong challenges Jeong-Tak to a duel and wins over him.
