About East and West
Hyeon-Suk is introduced by her friend Park to an American named Bobby, and falls in love and gets to live with him, despite her family's objection and Park's jealousy. But when Bobby is ordered to get out of Korea, he leaves her saying he would come back to her and his son. As her brother Yong-Jun intercepts Bobby's letters, Hyeon-Suk feels lonely, and getting to know that her son is dying of pneumonia she commits suicide, but saved by Seong-Hun, who later proposes to her and gets married. Then Bobby comes back to Korea only to find Hyeon-Suk got married with other man. He asks his ex-wife to give him his son, which Hyeon-Suk allows.
