About Last Marine in Vietnam, The
This story is about Navy sergeant Jee Deok-Chil who sacrificed himself to save his combat friends in Vietnam. Korean soldiers were guarding against possible attack from Viet Cong, protecting the U.S. UDT at Nuybo Point. As Viet Cong's attack begins to increase its intensity, Sergeant Jee Deok-Chil, a medic, saves other soldiers even though he gets shot eight times. He dies thinking of Ji-Young, his Vietnamese lover. President Park, moved by Sergeant Ji's bravery, awards him a medal of honor.
