About Love and Parting
On a snowy day, a strange letter is delivered to Yun-Hee from Taiwan telling her to take her husband as soon as possible. As it is when her husband in Taiwan branch office has disappeared, the letter makes Yun-Hee worry. Young-Min has a lover Reitu with whom he had promised to marry while he was on military service in Vietnam. When Saigon perished, however, their communications is ceased and Young-Min married another woman thinking Reitu has already died, but 7 years later happens to see her in Taibei. At first, Yun-Hee anguishes between conflict and anger but when she meet Reitu, she realizes that Reitu wants to protect their Yun-Hee and Young-Min's marriage life. And it makes her to decide to concede Young-Min, but realizing it, Reitu commits suicide after smarted herself up with Vietnamese traditional dress.
