About Bird in Dawn, A
At dawn of late autumn in 1970, a young beautiful woman's body is found on the bench of a small empty station. Detective Oh thinks that she may be his sister got lost during Korean War and closely pursues her trails. He finds out that she is a prostitute and goes to an unlicensed prostitute quarters. And there, he hears that her real name is Chun-Ja and has lived with a dream of finding her brother parted with during the war. She meets a laborer Baek In-Hwan and, while talking with him about childhood, she finds out that he is her brother and it compels her to kill herself. Detective Oh thinks we should take the responsibility for her death.
