About Last Summer Day, The
University underground circle's member Ji-Yong is expelled from the school as the leader of disturbance in school. Ideological wandering makes Ji-Yong go over to Japan by being stow away, and there, he meets Shin Ki-Hwa of Chochongryeon. Gradually, he is brainwashed by him and, in the end, he goes to the North Korea with his parents and sister. But, witnessing the North Korean's miserable living condition, Ji-Yong and Ki-Hwa attempt to escape from the underground building the last brainwashing education place, but they fail. Ji-Hwa begins new life in the isolated and oppressed society crying out 'give me freedom or death' at the DMZ boundary line with speaker.
