About Eighty Eight Comrades
Typical Honam province resident Ko regards the residents in Yeongnam province with hostility and rejects his eldest grandson's wife candidate born in Yeongnam. Thereupon, the eldest grandson leaves the house and doctor Hong opened hospital in the next door decides to help to excludes the regional enmity between Yeongnam and Honam. They select 80 university students from Yeongnam and Honam and invite them to the opposite province so that they can take lodgings at a private house. Though the first interchanges ends as failure, but the next one succeeds. Ko's granddaughter Seon-Hee comes to take lodging at the house of her brother's lover Yeon-Hee, and taking this opportunity, the lovers decide to take the main role in removing the useless regional enmity. On the day when 88 highway is opened connecting Kwangju and Daeku, a marathon contest is held whose running course is the section between the two points.
