About Rose and Gambler
A car washing shop's mechanic Hyeon-Wo, blinded with ambition of success, dreams ungrounded dream. So, he does not keep good company with Seok-Ki who lives within his means. Hyeon-Woo frequents a pleasure resort and is caught by So-Young's temptation. Hyeon-Woo borrows money from In-Hye who loves him and tries his hand in gambling. But he loses all his money by So-Young's evil plot and is deserted by her, and In-Hye gets imprisoned for lending him the money. Only by then, Hyeon-Woo realizes his foolishness and, deciding to take revenge, deliberately ruins So-Young. The moment when he is going to quit gambling, the police arrest him and, thus he parts with In-Hye with tears.
