About My Father and Mother
Dr. Ko Jin-Ha, a geologist, and his assistant Young-Kyu who come to China to give lecutures in Yen Ben University are watching at the great scenery of Baek Du Mountain in the train. Without his knowledge, the days in independence army when he rode in Manchurian plain occurs in his mind and he recalls painful memories. Sure enough when he arrives in Yeon Kil, Dr. Ko meets his ex-fellow Han Kil-Wu who tells him that his ex-beloved La Ri-Cheong underwent hardship with parturient body. He is greatly shocked because he doesn't know the woman, his benefactor and beloved, was pregnanto of his baby. Anyway Dr. Ko gets to try to find La Ri-Cheong with help of Mi-Ran, a Chosun reporter, after he successfully finishes his lectures in Yen Ben University. After asking around he succeeds in finding Jin-Cheong, La's son, but the latter coldly refuses Dr. Ko who comes to see him with difficulty. For he can't accept Dr. Ko who deserted him and his mother.
