Yoon Ji-Seob. A film critic and part time lecturer. A 35-year-old celibate. Though passive and shilly-shally, passionate man in at least films. Bang Jeong-Hee. A reporter of a film magazine. Active and out going. She feels love to Ji-Seob as she meet him to request an article and gets to him actively. Cho-Rok. While she is brought by her uncle, the only relative of her, instead of her parents who died in an accident, she is entrusted to Ji-Seob since her uncle Ki-Su marries and is about to emigrate. Though Jeong-Hee frequents Ji-Seob's apartment under pretext of taking care of Cho-Rok, Ji-Seob hardens his belief in celibacy. When he is forced to have a blind meeting due to his parents' urge, Jeong-Hee appears to the appointed place with Cho-Rok as she hears the news. While Ji-Seob's parents strongly demand him to marry So-Young who he met in the blind date. When she visits Ji-Seob's apartment without notice, So-Young encounters with Jeong-Hee. Two women engage in psychological warfare in front of Cho-Rok's eyes. Ji-Seob witnesses their quarrels as he comes back from work at that moment. He scolds them but rather he is charged of a playboy and insulted by them. Ji-Seob gets to love Jeong-Hee without knowing it and Jeong-Hee, too, loves Ji-Seob but they only dispute whenever they meet due to self-respect. Then one day............
