Kim Yeon-Ha is concentrating on New Village Movement in a peaceful village with her daughter Kyeong-Hee. One day when a professor of an art college Hwang Yun-Seong passes her house with members of climbing class, Yeon-Ha can't show her up in front of him and only sheds tears. Finding vaguely her mother's secret, Kyeong-Hee becomes Yun-Seong's maidservant to find out the behind story. Yun-Seong's daughter Nan-Suk, too, comes to know this. While Yeon-Ha is living with Yun-Seong 20 years ago, she came to know a woman Yun who crossed the border looking for Yun-Seong and left him for a rural village. Nan-Suk writes Kyeong-Hee that they are half sisters and they meet again in delight of reunion.
