About Bye, Mom
Yun-Im, a high school junior, likes her English teacher Jin-Kuk who also likes her. Jeong-Ae, Yun-Im's friend helps her date with the teacher. Then as Korean War breaks out, Jin-Kuk who went to his hometown to bring something for his marriage with Yun-Im, gets held hostage by the communist regime in the North. Hearing that Jin-Kuk is dead, Yun-Im marries Tae-Shik, who dies after she gave birth to a daughter. Then Yun-Im remarries Won-Ho, who gets arrested accused of fraud. Yun-Im comes across Jin-Kuk who she thought was dead, and feels guilty when she knows he is still single. Won-Ho gets released from prison and asks his wife to forgive him. Yun-Im commits suicide after she had a car accident.
