Married an impotent Dong-Keun, Hye-Suk refuses husband's suggestion to part with and enters a temple in order to carry out one hundred days' pray wishing for miracle. One day, she falls down in front of the devotion altar and rescued by Sang-Wu who's been nursing himself at the temple and spends one night with him. Thus she gives birth to his baby. When her mother-in-law is very happy about the baby mistaking it for her real grandson, Hye-Suk feels guilty of conscience and leaves home after trusting the baby to the care of Sang-Wu.
