About Letter from the Heaven, A
Mi-Kyeong often exchanges correspondence with her father at Samcheok city, so that she can establish a good friendship with a mailman. When workmen are in short in farm village, she sends her father a letter to return and help her. As soon as her father receives her letter, he makes up mind to return to home town, but dies of traffic accident while buying a gift for his daughter. To soothe her deep grief, she says that human being's spirit is alive. Since then, she used to send her letter to the Heaven. To comfort her, the mailman exchanges correspondence with her on behalf of her father. Later, she is given the first place prize in the International Kids Writing Competition that is sponsored by the International Postal Association in Switzerland.
