About Sound of Magpie
Nobody has news from Bong-Su after Korean War, but he appears suddenly after discharge from military service. His fiancee Jeong-Sun regarded that he was dead, because she got a notice of his death. Therefore, she is married with Sang-Ho who made up the notice of his death in order to marry her. Bong-Su persuades her to come back to him, but Jeong-Sun kills herself in the end, since she has no other choice. Bong-Su gets a mental disorder and strangles Jeong-Im, the younger sister of Sang-Ho, who loved him.
